Or as the Antilleans themselves say, "Bon Bini a Korsou!" But don't worry, you can speak Dutch here, which is convenient, right? The inhabitants of Curaçao speak Papiamento, a mix of Spanish, Portuguese, Dutch, etc., so you might be able to follow it. And be aware that almost everyone here understands Dutch, as it is also the official language on the island.
Antilleans are very friendly people, relaxed and helpful. The consistently good temperature makes everyone laid-back and easygoing. For us Dutch people, it might take some getting used to, but you will see that the stress and haste we often experience will quickly fade away.
Our perfect location
There is so much to do in the immediate vicinity: having breakfast, lunch, or dinner next door or taking a walk to Punda or across the bridge to Otrabanda? No problem, and everything is within walking distance. The street opposite PM78 is known for its many restaurants and bars. You will probably run out of time to see and try everything. Every evening there is a party or happy hour somewhere. From salsa night to club night, everything is within walking distance, so you can safely and quickly return home.
Do you love the many beaches Curaçao has to offer? By car, you can reach the famous Mambo Beach within 5 minutes and Jan Thiel Beach in 15 minutes. These are the most well-known, with their beach clubs and shops. But don't forget to visit the numerous lesser-known, but no less beautiful, beaches. There is something for everyone. From busy and touristy to untouched and quiet. From luxurious dining on the beach to enjoying a drink with your feet in the sand.
PM78 has 6 different apartments, 3 with views of Pietermaai and 3 with ocean views. The largest, a 5-star ocean view, even has its own pool right on the Caribbean Sea! How unique is that... What is so great about the PM78 apartments is that you can decide whether to prepare and eat breakfast with a view of the rising sun or to have breakfast next door at Bij Blauw or La Reina. There are plenty of options. And your choice between a delicious salad on your own terrace or a burger at De Dames across the street ensures that every day is a little celebration!
